Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.
You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.
There are exciting developments underway at Heatherwood hospital and one of these is the opening of a new out-patient lithotripsy department. To support this new service we are looking for an experienced and versatile nurse to help us launch this new service and with an interest in day surgery and out-patient procedures. The post holder will be an integral part of the day surgery team and will deliver care for patients undergoing a range of out-patient and day case procedures in the day surgery unit, the adjacent plastic procedure unit, the new lithotripsy unit and our minor procedure room. With ever increasing technology and medical advances many procedures previously performed as in-patient are now moving towards day surgery and out-patients. The field of day surgery is therefore an exciting and progressive area to be part of. The department currently operates Monday to Friday with hours of work between the hours of 7am and 7pm. We are a friendly and supportive team and if you are new to the day surgery field we will provide you with full training.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
