Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.
You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.
This job is for a Clinical Fellow in Interventional Cardiology to provide care for patients for designated Consultant/team at ward level, and receive support/ training from Consultant staff. Training and supervision in cardiac procedures as per the requirements and skills of the individual. This job is suitable either for someone at the start of their interventional training or who is more advanced. There has previously been an interventional registrar post in this trust, with the appointee coming from the London/KSS regions. Owing to a shortage of suitable trainees at the correct stage this year, there will be no such post, and thus this advertised fellow post will be the only interventional trainee in the department.
This post may be closed before the closing date if there are sufficient applicants.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
