10 PAs plus premia

We have an opportunity for a consultant in Dermatology to join our existing team of 4 consultants as soon as possible to provide general dermatology care. The main duties of the post constitute general dermatology clinics and outpatient skin surgery. The post holder will be expected to see new patients as well as treating patients from the waiting list. Sessions will be a mixture of fixed and flexible.

Joining a progressive and expanding dermatology department which provides a comprehensive range of services, which include dedicated clinics in paediatric dermatology, dermatopathology, skin cancer, severe psoriasis and contact dermatitis, phototherapy, vulval dermatology, and the successful candidates should be able to demonstrate a proven experience in training. Sub speciality interests which compliment the existing team would be advantageous, but not essential.

To this end we invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the above post, which will also supervise and train juniors and undergraduates, and the dermatology nursing team.

This post attracts a £20,000 recruitment and retention premia - £10,000 payable on appointment and £10,000 payable after two years in post.
