Trust Doctors (F1 equivalent)

12 month fixed term contract

From 1 August 2018

We are seeking Trust Doctors at F1 equivalent level. These posts consist of 4 month rotations in Cardiology, Urology and General Surgery and all specialties involve participation in a full on-call rota commitment, including nights.

Whilst these posts will not be recognised for training, they have a strong educational component with dedicated training in clinical, professional and personal skills. The post holder will have regular appraisals and competency-based assessments overseen by the F1 Programme Director.

Following successful completion of the year and the ability to demonstrate the equivalent of the competencies required for F1 sign-off, there may be the opportunity to extend for a second year, working in a Trust doctor F2 equivalent post. 

Applicants must have full GMC Registration.
