The Temporary Staffing team provides a vital service to the Trust, helping support the organisation by filling staffing gaps. You will work within a team who are responsible for ensuring high fill rates for bank and agency shifts for a designated group of staff. You will need to proactively contact staff and agencies in order to cover the needs of the Trust, in order to ensure the provision of safe patient care on the wards.
Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will be dealing with staff at all levels within the Trust and externally on a daily basis. You will have an excellent telephone manner and good interpersonal skills, as well as an organised and methodical approach, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
You must be able to operate in a very busy office environment, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines. The service receives large numbers of queries each day (telephone, email and face-to-face) and you will need to balance this with the challenge of filling shifts.
Ideally, you will have previous experience of working within a busy temporary staffing environment, although experience of working within HR, customer service, a call centre or recruitment agency would also be advantageous.
You will need to have excellent IT skills, as you will be required to use a number of systems on a daily basis; previous experience of using Allocate HealthRoster / BankStaff would be beneficial, although full training and support will be provided.
You will be required to work shifts on a rota pattern, as the office is open 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 8am-4pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. Applications for job shares would be considered if you wish to work on a part-time basis.
Your main base of work will be at Frimley Park Hospital. Please note the team will be relocating to Heatherwood Hospital, Ascot later in 2018.
