Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire  - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.

You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.

We are looking for a part time ward clerk to join our renal unit.

Your role will include greeting patients on arrival, assisting patients with meal choices, updating electronic systems and collecting and filing medical records.

You will need to work well with others including nursing & medical staff, patients, relatives and staff from other departments.

You should always be able to remain calm and professional, even in stressful situations.

With the development of electronic patient records you should be comfortable using a computer (full patient systems training will be provided as part of your induction and department orientation).

If you have good customer service skills, able to prioritise and organise your own workload, have excellent communication skills and able to work well within a team then this could be the role for you. The role requires you to deal with patient enquiries, telephone calls, retrieving hospital notes, booking outpatients appointment, reception duties and be able to meet and greet patients and visitors to the ward
