Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire  - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.

You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic, innovative and highly motivated registered practitioners with a wide range of clinical skills, to work within Ophthalmic Theatres in our Treatment Centre (TC).

With twin theatres, the TC is a dedicated Ophthalmic unit, with a friendly group of surgeons and staff who are at the forefront of developing techniques from Corneal to Cataract surgery.

At Frimley Park we pride ourselves on our high standards of care and our drive for continuous service improvement.

As a Band 6, you will be key in promoting our agenda of quality and efficiency within Theatre Services. You will be operationally supporting the surgical team and be expected to actively contribute to service development across the peri-operative pathway, identifying opportunities and supporting individuals in the delivery of care.

To succeed in this role you will need excellent clinical knowledge, skills and experience to negotiate with and influence others, as you work within the Team in the review and development of services. You will be required to act as a role model for our staff, and will be required to take your part in the on call rota which enables us to provide 24/7 specialised cover.
