We are currently recruiting for an enthustiatic and motivated Band 7 paediatric ward manger, to join our team at Frimley Park Hospital which is part of the Frimley Health Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within an integrated children’s service providing care to children and their families in the acute setting. The Children’s Unit offers a wide range of experience in caring for children and young people with medical, surgical, orthopedic and oncology conditions. In addition to the inpatient department, paediatric care is supported within a children’s assessment unit, day surgery unit and outpatient department.
We are looking to appoint a well-organised, motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team. As a senior nurse the position requires a dynamic forward thinking nurse to help further develop the nursing team, in providing ongoing high quality care to children,young people and their families.
As an individual you will be required to have excellent organisational, and communication skills alongside effective leadership and management qualities. Whilst previous experience is welcome, training and ongoing development would be positively supported by the Trust.As Ward Manager you will support the ward day to day responsiblities leading the team clinically.
Staff development is an integral part of the role and is supported by the practice development lead for the ward.
You will be joining a team of nurses from the Trust in taking forward the nursing vision and Trust values in developing services and working towards directorate/Trust objectives.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
