The Pharmacy Department is a forward thinking and progressive department seeking to expand our current team We have an active staff training programme and a proven track record in staff development.
We are looking to recruit a self- motivated and enthusiastic Porter who is a good communicator and able to work independently and organise own workload . The duties are varied and will include:
• The safe and secure transportation of pharmacy goods throughout the hospital
• Receipt and storage of stock
• Receiving and distributing intravenous infusions to wards
You will need:
• GCSE Maths and English
• To be able to work towards a NVQ 2 in Pharmacy Services
• To be a good communicator both written and verbal
• To be reliable and have the ability to work under own initiative as well as within a large team
• To have good interpersonal skills
• To be flexible in your working hours
