Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire  - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.

You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.

Our Occupational Therapy Department is growing and we are now actively recruiting to new positions. So if you have just qualified and want to quick start your new beginning as an Occupational Therapist or if you are ready to take a next step within your career and want to be part of a growing and forward thinking team than look no further!

We have Band 5 Occupational Therapy rotational posts within the areas of ED, rapid access & medical assessment unit, stroke rehab and community based services, acute outreach rehab, orthopaedics, surgery, acute medicine, palliative care, elderly rehabilitation, (and based at the sister site - hand injuries).

You will thrive on building professional relationships and working in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), patient and their carer/relatives and other members of the local health. You will promote smooth, efficient and safe discharges throughout the Trust and facilitate service improvement and integration with community services and other providers.

To achieve this you will be supported and actively encouraged in enhancing your leadership and clinical skills in a supportive, dynamic and varied environment:

- Clinical supervision from a senior OT
- Research and Development opportunities
- Regular departmental and Trust-wide peer-support meetings
- Applying for internal and external training opportunities

We offer our employees generous training, study leave and vacation allowance as well as benefits package which includes NHS pension scheme, eyesight tests, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, gym membership, transport season ticket loans, occupational health services and a motivating workplace environment.

This is a great opportunity to work and develop as an individual and as part of a team, gaining clinical and operational experience in a supportive environment.
So if you are interested in coming to work with us we would be very keen to hear from you.
