Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.
You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Surgical Acute Dependency Unit. The unit has 7 level 1 beds for the surgical patient and cares for patients under all surgical specialities.
We are looking to appoint dynamic, enthusiastic individuals with good interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering high quality patient care to join our team. Previous surgical experience is desirable in an acute hospital setting.
The role will include experience in all aspects of pre and post surgical procedures, management of epidurals, patient controlled analgesia, stoma care, wound management and caring for the level 1 patient, with full support and competency assessment.
Frimley Park Hospital offers an excellent range of study days and training opportunities and surgery is supported by a practice development team.
This post requires flexibility with working hours and internal rotation onto nights.
