An exciting opportunity has arisen to join ward G1. G1 is a Macmillan adopted Haematology/Oncology/medical unit comprising of 17 side rooms.
We are a well respected unit with an excellent reputation in the trust. We have established good working relationships with our colleagues and are a friendly team to work with.
You will care for a variety of patients that are undergoing chemotherapy and will gain invaluable experience in cancer care. Provision of nursing care for patients with a variety of acute conditions. Co-ordinating the care of patients across the multi-disciplinary team.
You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual patient care with minimal supervision. To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that treatments are correctly carried out in accordance with given policy.
With minimal supervision, be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient needs.
