The Trust is looking for the right person to join the Trust's Access to Health Records Team, which is tasked with responding to requests received from patient's/NHS organisations and other third party companies for copies of patient's medical records.

The team is based at Frimley, with the possibility of a future move to another site within the Trust.  You will be responsible for working in a team to respond to written requests received from a wide range of individuals/organisations within mandatory deadlines.  Training for the job will be provided.

The postholder will need to have good communication skills, excellent computer skills, be able to use a wide range of different clinical systems, be an enthusiastic and motivated individual.  The postholder will need to have an understanding of the Data Protection Act 2018 and Access to Health Records Act 1990.  Experience of working in the NHS or a large multi-disciplinary organisation will be an advantage.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
