Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.
You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.
Frimley Park Critical Care team is looking to appoint a Band 5 to join our Critical Care Team. We are seeking to appoint a motivated and dynamic Band 5 Registered Nurse, who wish to pursue structured Band 5 critical care development.
Frimley Park Critical Care Unit has 12 beds consisting of a mixture of ITU/HDU patients. Our education programmes, supported by our practice education team, aim to provide staff of all grades with the essential knowledge and skills required in our busy, friendly unit.
You will have a minimum of six months post registration experience in an acute hospital setting, and up-to-date knowledge, together with a willingness to develop acute care skills and the ability to integrate into our dynamic team.
We offer a flexible work pattern by offering both short and long shifts, all staff will be expected to rotate onto night duty. Opportunities are available to advance through AFC gateways through frameworks of development.
