Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.
You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.
At Frimley Park Hospital (lead hospital in the Frimley Health Foundation Trust, which includes Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals), we’re proud to be rated as outstanding by the Care Quality Commission for the quality of our medical care and hyper-acute services. It sets the bar high for new physicians joining us in Acute Medicine, but makes us a great place to build your career, in prosperous, leafy Surrey, a stone’s throw away from London.
Working in our 39-bedded Acute Medical Unit and brand new Ambulatory Care Unit (6 cubicles), you’ll be able to shape the provision of acute medical care for our growing local population. We strongly encourage applicants to develop their specialist interest and integrate with other departments. We are especially looking for applicants with other hyper-acute speciality skills, such as Stroke Medicine, Cardiology and Intensive Care Medicine, but other specialist interests would be welcome. Joint posts will be positively welcomed, as we already have Consultants in the department working across specialities. As part of a progressive Medical Directorate, you’ll help us intensify the provision of consultant-led care, and as you do, we’ll bring out the brilliant in you.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
