The Cancer Services department at Wexham Park Hospital, Frimley Health Trust is a busy service comprised of Tumour Site Specific Multi-Disciplinary Teams.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our Cancer Services Team of Multidisciplinary Coordinators.
The successful applicant will be a person that embodies the Trust Values of Committed to excellence, Working together, Facing the future and has the competencies to fulfill the core role which requires the ability to efficiently and effectively co-ordinate Tumour site specific Multi – Disciplinary Team meetings, track patients against Cancer Waiting Times targets to ensure Minimum Data Sets and Audits are completed, capturing and accurately recording the relevant data for each patient in line with the National Data requirements. You will need experience of a team environment and be able to demonstrate data input and the ability to give excellent attention to detail. As one of a team of MDT Coordinators you will work closely with the multidisciplinary core team members to ensure patient pathways run as smoothly as possible in line with waiting time targets. We need a highly motivated and proactive individual who will virtually navigate patients through their care pathway from point of referral to treatment in accordance with agreed pathway steps and timescales, proactively identifying and resolving delays at all stages (strong understanding of 2 week waits, 31 days and 62 day targets). The successful candidate will have NHS experience along with excellent IT, communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise and organise your work with minimal supervision.
