Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire  - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.

You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.

This is an exciting time to work for Frimley Health at Wexham Park hospital, Having just completed a £10m refurbishment project with en-suite labour rooms, a new look to our Juniper Birth Centre and a Transitional Care unit. We have also recently been awarded a 'Good' rating by the Care Quality Commission.

We are looking for enthusiastic midwives to help develop our service in line with the National Maternity Review 'Better Births'.

The successful candidate will join a small Community Midwifery Team working closely with around 6 colleagues in a supportive, caring and learning environment, supporting students and liaising closely with other members of the wider team providing excellent and up-to-date care to women from a multicultural background.

Community Midwives will have continuous responsibility for a defined caseload of women and for the assessment of care needs. They will provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care for women in the hospital or home settings, facilitating informed choice and a personalised pathway.

We may consider job-shares or a 'buddy-scheme' which is integrated with Labour Ward or Birth Centre.
