Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire  - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.

You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.

We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated ambitious individual to join the ENT department based at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals.

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Junior Clinical Fellow (FY2/SHO) to complement the existing team of 5 junior staff (3 Foundation Year 2, Core Surgical trainee and a GP VTS trainee), 2 Specialty Registrars, 1 specialty Doctor, 1 Associate Specialist and 5 consultants.

The Trust serves a large population and the post is both challenging and rewarding. The ENT department provides a supra-district out- patient service and has a busy, comprehensive inpatient activity involving Head and Neck Surgery, Otology, Rhinology and Paediatrics which offers an excellent range of ENT services to our local community.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop core ENT clinical and procedural skills. The post-holder will undertake ward duties in ENT and will have opportunities to access theatre sessions, out-patient clinics, other training opportunities can be discussed and arranged depending on the individual’s requirements.

The department has a very good track record supporting candidates to achieve a core surgical training posts or a ST3 post via National Selection. This post will be ideal for FY2 trainees preparing for ST3.
