Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire  - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.

You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.

An opportunity has arisen for a Manual Handling Health and Safety Adviser, in the Occupational Health & Safety Department at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust

Working within the Occupational Health and Safety team, you will be helping to achieve Trust targets and to build on our reputation for excellence.

You will be required to provide clinical and non clinical training to all levels of hospital staff. Therefore you must have excellent training skills, and the ability to develop and present a wide range of health and safety and manual handling courses. You will also be required to investigate incidents, answer enquiries and provide proactive advice on health and safety and manual handling matters.

A thorough knowledge of clinical manual handling practices in an NHS hospital is highly desirable and so would experience in health and safety preferably in a clinical environment.

Although you will be based at Wexham Park Hospital the ability to travel, on occasion between trust sites is essential.

Frimley Health has all the benefits of a large NHS Trust, (including a subsidised gym at Frimley). There are also many leisure discounts available and there is a pre-school nursery (subject to availability).
