We are looking to appoint a high quality person who will add value to the department.  

It is a required that the successful candidate is post-CCT and it is preferable that the candidate has a recognised fellowship in lower limb arthroplasty and desirable that the candidate has a fellowship in soft tissue knee surgery .

The successful candidate will be also be expected to offer a broad general trauma service. 

This is a post, based primarily at Wexham Park Hospital but with some exposure to our other sites.

The primary purpose of the post is to support a comprehensive elective and emergency Trauma & Orthopaedic service for the local population. 

The post will have weekly fixed theatre and outpatient commitments working alongside the team of consultants providing plentiful opportunity for continued development.

In addition the post holder will form part of the Consultant clinical team proving daytime support to busy Accident & Emergency Department accepting emergency referrals.
