Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.
You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.
Frimley Health are looking for motivated Physiotherapy assistants with a ‘can-do’ attitude to join our Inpatient Physiotherapy Team at Wexham Park Hospital. Experience working as a Band 2 Therapy Assistant is essential.
You will be an enthusiastic, friendly, reliable and hardworking individual who is passionate about patient care. In this ward based role you will be primarily assisting the physiotherapy team with delivering rehab to a variety of patients, some of whom may be quite unwell so you may, therefore, be working in demanding environments. You need to be driven and prepared to deliver high quality care and attention to detail at all times. In this role you can look forward to a career full of development opportunities and the support from an excellent team of Chartered Physiotherapists
As the post is a developmental role for non registered physiotherapy staff we would encourage applications from those not seeking HCPC registration.
We also welcome interest from those who would like to join our Physio Assistant Bank. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to work flexible on an ‘as and when’ basis. You will have the flexibility to work at times and in locations that suit you, helping you achieve a good work/life balance. You will also have access to a full programme of training and development as well as a range of employee benefits.
Rotations are 6 months each and will include Medicine, Surgery, & Orthopaedics.
You will participate in group activities and complete a short written exercise followed by an interview. Please plan to be available all day.
Previous candidates need not apply.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
