Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire  - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.

You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.

Frimley Health Wexham Park are looking for motivated Physiotherapy assistants to join our Bank service. You must have a ‘can-do’ attitude and will work across a range of our departments. Whilst it is desirable for you to have previous experience working in a hospital or care environment, we are looking for an individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent standards of care.

Previous unsuccessful applicants need not apply.

You will be an enthusiastic, friendly, reliable and hardworking individual who is passionate about patient care. In this ward based role you will be primarily assisting the physiotherapy team with delivering rehab to a variety of patients, some of whom may be quite unwell so you may, therefore, be working in demanding environments.

You need to be driven and prepared to deliver high quality care and attention to detail at all times. In this role you can look forward to a career full of development opportunities and the support from an excellent team of Chartered Physiotherapists. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to work flexible on an ‘as and when’ basis.

You will have the flexibility to work at times that suit you, helping you achieve a good work/life balance. You will also have access to a full programme of training and development as well as a range of employee benefits. You’ll have a great opportunity to meet members of our physiotherapy team and learn first-hand what it’s like to work at Frimley Health.

You will participate in group activities and complete short written tests followed by an interview. You’ll also be able to hear more about the little extra we’re offering with on the job mentoring, an induction programme, and training designed to broaden the knowledge that a new physiotherapy assistant will have about working in an acute hospital. To this end, we are not looking to recruit individuals who have a Physiotherapy degree or HCPC registration.

When joining Frimley Health we can offer you a supportive working environment as well as training and development to meet your needs. If you have an interest in developing your clinical knowledge and skills as well as welcome service development and innovation then we are interested in hearing from you.

As part of your application we want you to tell us what you think the role of a physiotherapy assistant is and which part of the job you think you would find most challenging, this needs to be entered into the supporting information section of the application form and will form part of the assessment criteria.
