Plastics General & Hand Fellow

We are seeking to recruit a Hand and Reconstructive Fellow doctor in plastic and reconstructive surgery with a special interest in Microsurgery. An application for Royal College approval for this post has been submitted and is pending. The post is initially for one year. The post holder will work 40 hours per week. The post will also provide the opportunity to work with all eight consultants in the department and support the service as required. This will ensure a variety of experience and exposure to a range of fields including DIEP microsurgery, Breast surgery, Paediatric surgery and Aesthetic Surgery. The post will be based at Wexham Park Hospital and Heatherwood Hospitals, with the possibility of additional clinics in a number of other hospitals in the trust. The post holder will be expected to carry out teaching, examination and accreditation duties as required and contribute to post graduate and continuing medical education activities locally. The post holder will be expected to carry out audit and activities associated with Clinical Governance as required by the Trusts and or by the Royal College.
