Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire  - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.

You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.

We have an exciting opportunity in our Post-Operative Recovery Area within our Theatres Department. This is a new post to work along the existing band 7 Lead.

The department covers a wide range of specialities including Emergencies / Trauma, Gynaecology/Obstetrics General Surgery and Urology.

We are looking for dynamic, innovative and highly motivated Registered Practitioners with a wide range of clinical skills including Theatres ITU/HDU or critical care experience.

You will be accountable for ensuring a high standard of care is delivered to our patients in the area.

You will be expected to use your excellent clinical experience, evidenced based knowledge and skills to actively contribute to service development and across

the perioperative pathway.

You will have a passion and drive to deliver clear Clinical Leadership to the Team, supporting the Matron and Head of Theatres in ensuring the delivery of high quality care.

You must be team focused and be able to communicate well at all levels.

We offer the successful candidates full hospital induction and are committed to personal and professional development with the support of our dedicated practice development team.

We encourage and support our staff to undertake the post qualification courses anaesthetic course, mentoring and first assistant programme.

Wexham Park Site has an exciting future ahead of it – after being rated ‘GOOD’ by the recent CQC inspection – the next step is a fantastic brand new £49 million state of the art Accident and Emergency unit. Cross site working is very pro active in the Directorate and you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues on all 3 sites.
