Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire  - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.

You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated nurse to support the development of the Upper GI Cancer service within Wexham Park Hospital.  This is a permanent Band 7 Macmillan Upper GI Cancer CNS post.

You will provide specialist support and advice to patients acting as their Keyworker. You will oversee and co-ordinate services, personalise the cancer pathway for individual patients pre- diagnosis to aftercare. The successful applicant will work as part of a well-established Upper GI cancer multi-disciplinary team who provide specialist advice and support to patients, their relatives and all members of the health care teams within the hospital, network and community.  Ideally you should have experience of caring for patients with gastro-intestinal disorders or cancer.

We offer a friendly and challenging working environment with a strong commitment to personal professional development.
