Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire  - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.

You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.

Due to exciting developments and promotions within the trust we are seeking an enthusiastic Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our well established team on a rotation based at Wexham Park Hospital, with opportunity to also rotate to Heatherwood Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital.

Our Acute rotation would give you the opportunity to gain clinical experience in the following areas Medicine, Orthopaedics, Hands, Surgery, Elderly Rehabilitation, A&E, Stroke, and community based service - Acute outreach rehab. The department, of approximately 40 staff provides a fast paced 7 day service with the core hours being worked over Monday to Friday; however staff need to be prepared to work weekends.

Our Occupational Therapy departments have a friendly, supportive atmosphere and a real team ethics and are well respected within the hospital. We know how to look after our staff - making sure they achieve the ideal work-life balance. We provide regular staff supervision, appraisal and peer review demonstrating our commitment to excellence. We are therefore looking for applicants who are highly motivated and share these values, to come and work with us to provide top class patient care.

Our broad and varied workload offers every opportunity to further your experience and our location is great - set within 1 hour commuting distance of London. In fact no other department will offer you more.
