Frimley Health is a Trust where great care and great careers go hand in hand. We’re three hospitals working closely with each other and with the communities we serve in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire - our organisation has brought Heatherwood and Wexham hospitals into the fold of Frimley Park Hospital and its wider community services.
You’ll find the highest standards of clinical excellence across our locations and a friendly, supportive, open culture that brings everyone together. For our team it means a great day-to-day working experience – in a Trust with strong leadership, a clear sense of direction and an exciting vision for the future. The investment and changes ahead make this an exciting place to be. You can play your part in delivering exceptional patient care, while continuing to grow, develop and progress through first class learning and training.
Are you interested in healthcare? Would you like to be an innovative member of the healthcare team? Thinking about becoming a nurse in the future? An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Frimley Health staff to become a Nursing Associate Trainee.
The Nursing associate will support the delivery of nursing care, providing high quality holistic and person-centered care. They will assist the registered nurse in the assessment, planning and evaluation of care, working as a key member of the nursing and multi-disciplinary team.
This is a two year apprenticeship role, with time spent working clinically and also in further education. On successful completion of the course, you will be able to apply for a Band 4 Nursing Associate position within the organisation. This is a full time programme, and all trainees must be prepared to work 37.5 hours per week. Interviews will take place in March/April in conjunction with Bucks New University and the University of West London. If selected for interview you will be required to bring a supporting statement from your line manager.
