SALARY £8.96 PER HOUR (PLUS HIGHER COST ALLOWANCE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Appointment Officer to join the Booking Team at Wexham Park Hospital. The post holder will be expected to undertake a variety of tasks across all aspects of appointment bookings and rescheduling of appointments. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and also as part of a team. The ideal candidate will possess: - good communication skills - a flexible approach to work and the ability to work independently and as part of a team - an eye for detail in data collection and recording - experience and understanding of the Patient Administration System - an awareness of local and national targets - an understanding of the Outpatient Waiting List Full training will be given to the successful candidate in electronic systems such as the Patient Management System (iPM), national E-Referral Service and scanning. This post is an excellent opportunity to develop skills working within the outpatient booking team in a band 3 job role. The Booking Team operates from Monday to Friday.
Applicants who require a Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) are unlikely to be considered for the post due to the limit on COS. Non-EEA candidates cannot be appointed to a post if a suitable qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post, as the Trust is unlikely in these circumstances to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test.
